My name is Stuart Geddes. This is some of my work.
This is also the work of my collaborators: authors, editors, publishers, printers and other designers. I mostly design books, but I sometimes work on other kinds of projects, like magazines and journals, exhibitions and websites.
I'm an Industry Fellow at RMIT University, as well as being a PhD candidate. My research interests in that context converge around the form of the book, through collaborative practice, emerging histories, and unconventional economies.
One of my ongoing projects is making motorcycle magazine Head Full oƒ Snakes with my friend Luke. And I share a studio space with Brad, Žiga, Karina and Tom.
Before all this I ran Chase & Galley, I used to make Is Not Magazine, design Monument, and be on the board of West Space and AGDA. Before all that, I was part of Studio Anybody. Along the way I've taught quite a lot at RMIT and Monash Universities, and frequently given talks and run workshops for conferences, festivals, galleries, schools and other organisations.
