Among Buildings reflects on 26 examples of significant Melbourne architecture through photography and poetry. This is a project I made with photographer Tom Ross and architect and poet Michael Roper.
The design of Among Buildings embraces the casual rhythm of Michaels and Toms conversations about architecture. The unbound folded sheets can be shared around a table in conversation, or carried individually on a visit to one of the buildings. The play of the photographs and minimal typography over the matte paper unfolds into a new kind of way of thinking about and looking at buildings.
